Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zpracovává téma „Vznik Československa v karikatuře a textech časopisu Humoristické listy 1918/1919“. Autorka nás ve své práci nejprve seznamuje s historií a vývojem samotného časopisu. V další části se pak zaměřuje na okolnosti, jež předcházely vzniku samostatné Československé republiky. Následně pak představuje další významné humoristické a satirické časopisy, jež vycházely v době vzniku Československa. V další kapitole se pak věnuje grafické úpravě časopisu. Hlavní náplní práce je rozbor výtvarných a literárních příspěvků časopisu Humoristické listy. Autorka si zde všímá nejčastěji vyskytovaných námětů, které následně představuje a zasazuje do určitého kontextu. Pomocí podrobné výtvarné a kulturně-historické analýzy a porovnáváním s dalšími časopisy se pak pokouší odpovědět na následující otázky: Jaké náměty jsou zde nejčastěji zobrazovány a jak k nim autoři přistupují? Jaká je umělecká úroveň výtvarných a literárních příspěvků? Jaké místo zabírá časopis v kontextu dané doby? A jaký je jeho přínos pro dobu dnešní?

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis works with the theme "The creation of Czechoslovakia in caricatures and texts of magazine Humoristické listy 1918/1919". The authoress in her work firstly introduces the history and development of the magazine itself. In the next section, she focuses on the circumstances that preceded the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak Republic. Subsequently, she introduces a further significant humorous and satirical magazines, which were printed at the time of the creation of Czechoslovakia. The next chapter is about graphic design of magazine. The main part of work is devoted to the analysis of the artistic and literary contributions of magazine Humoristické listy. The authoress captures the most common topics, then she presents and places examples in to the context. Then, with the help of art and cultural-historical analysis, she tries to answer the following questions: Which topics are most often presented and how the authors approach to them? What is the artistic level of caricatures and literary contributions? What is the place for magazine in its time? And what is the benefit of this magazine for today?
