Characteristics of roads and neighboring habitats and its effect on the frequency of collisions with wildlife

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vyhodnocení dat kolizí silniční dopravy se zvěří na území Plzeňského kraje za rok 2019 mezi všemi jeho okresy z hlediska počtu dopravních nehod a jejich lokalizace na silniční komunikaci. Silniční, resp. antropogenní sítě představují v dnešní době jeden z nejzávažnějších vlivů na přírodní krajinu. V důsledku rostoucí dopravní infrastruktury vytvářejí komunikace migrační bariéry, u kterých narůstají počty uhynulé zvěře. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí na rešeršní a výzkumnou. Ve druhé části práce popisujeme princip vytvoření databáze všech záznamů dopravních nehod se zvěří za rok 2019. Zdrojem těchto dat byla policejní statistika dopravní policie Plzeňského kraje. V GIS prostředí se analyzovaly a vyhodnocovaly jednotlivé výzkumné otázky, u kterých bylo zjištěno, že kvalitní (relevantní) data o počtech dopravních nehod mají pouze okresy Plzeň - město a Rokycany. Největší riziko střetu se zvěří hrozí u lesních oblastí a zemědělských ploch, které jsou mimo základní skladebné části ÚSES. Nejkritičtější silniční komunikací byla vyhodnocena silnice I/20 v okresu Plzeň - město. Srnec obecný se stal nejčastěji sraženým živočišným druhem za rok 2019. Na základě těchto zjištění jsme potvrdili výsledky vědeckých prací, proto tato práce může sloužit jako vzor pro budoucí projekty na území Plzeňského kraje.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the evaluation of road traffic collisions in the Pilsen region in 2019 between all its districts in terms of the number of accidents and their location on the road. Road resp. Anthropogenic networks represent one of the most serious effects on the natural landscape today. Due to the growing transport infrastructure, roads create migration barriers, with an increasing number of dead game. The work is divided into two parts, research and research. In the second part of the work I describe the principle of creating a database of all records of traffic accidents will be confused for the year 2019. The source of these data was the police statistics of the traffic police of the Pilsen region. In the GIS environment, individual research questions were analyzed and evaluated, for which it was found that only the districts of Plzeň-město and Rokycany have quality (relevant) data on the number of traffic accidents. The greatest risk of collision with wildlife is in forest areas and agricultural areas that are outside the basic composition of the ÚSES. The most critical road is the road I/20 in the district of Pilsen-city. Roe deer was the most frequently cloaked animal species in 2019. Based on these findings, we confirmed the results of scientific work, so this work can serve as a model for future projects in the Pilsen region.
