Comparison of the constitution of Plato and Aristotle and their comparison with today's concept of constitution

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem Srovnání ústav Platóna a Aristotela a jejich porovnání s dnešním pojetím ústav se zabývá rozdíly a podobnostmi v pojetí obce Platóna a Aristotela. V rámci kulturně historického hlediska se zabývá okolnostmi, za jakých byly jejich myšlenky stvořeny, a poukazuje na jednotlivé body, jež ve svých dílech formulovali a závěrům, k nimž došli. Všechny jejich návrhy se uskutečňují v unikátním městském uskupení- řecké polis. V tomto útvaru pak jsou navrhovány těmito mysliteli zákony, podle kterých si představují chod tehdejší antické společnosti. V textu je věnováno nejvíce místa popisu těchto principů, podle kterých se má obec řídit, a poukázat na jejich společné, i rozdílné znaky. Práce se snaží dokázat, že i přes rozdílné postoje těchto filosofů není jejich uspořádání obce tak odlišné, jak se na první pohled může zdát. Zároveň se tato práce snaží upozornit na podobnosti a rozdíly v pojetí ústav moderním člověkem.

Abstract:

This thesis titled Comparison of the constitution of Plato and Aristotle and their comparison with today's concept of constitution explores the differences and similarities in the concept of the community of Plato and Aristotle. Within the cultural and historical perspective deals with the circumstances in which their ideas were created, and refer to the points which they formulated in their conclusions. All their propose are made in a unique urban formation- Greek polis. In this polis these thinkers proposed laws, that represent the function of the former ancient society. The text devoted most space to description of these principles, by which the community must order, and refer into their common and different features.. This work tries to prove, that despite the different stances of these philosophers, their arrangement of the community is not as different as it first may seem. At the same time , this work seeks to highlight the similarities and differences in the concept of modern humans institute .
