This thesis delves into the analysis of a select portion of singer Lana Del Rey's discography. It aims to examine the evolution of her musical oeuvre and the prevalent themes of American culture and patriotism that are evident in her albums Born to Die, Paradise (the extension), Ultraviolence, Norman Fucking Rockwell!, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, and Blue Banisters.
