Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is a sociolinguistic analysis of immigrants from the movies Li Ké Terra (Nuno Baptista, João Miller Guerra, Filipa Leis, 2010), Zona J (Leonel Vieira, 1998) and Ossos (Pedro Costa, 1997). The descendants of the Luso-African immigrants are the characters who are mostly portrayed in the movies. Therefore, we decided to focus on them in our thesis.
