Eutanázie je zahrnuta do Práva na tělesnou integritu a je součástí Ochrany osobnosti. Z tohoto důvodu jsou v této práci – v její obecné části definovány pojmy všeobecného osobnostního práva, subjekty a předměty všeobecného osobnostního práva a prostředky občanskoprávní ochrany.
