Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is how education and socializing of young girls was portrayed in Victorian children's literature and how it differs from real life. Abstract:
Cílem práce je ukázat jak vzdělávání a socializace mladých dívek bylo vyobrazeno v dětské literatuře ve viktoriánské éře a jak se toto vyobrazení liší od skutečného života. Hlavní část práce se skládá ze čtyř děl anglické literatury: Alenka v říši divů a její pokračování Alenka za zrcadlem od Lewise Carrolla, Tajná zahrada od Frances Hodgson Burnett a Princezna a goblin od George MacDonalda.
