The analysis of selected pig breeding

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu vybraného chovu prasat v kraji Vysočina. V první části jsou popsány reprodukční a produkční vlastnosti prasat a faktory na ně působící, význam a ekonomika chovu prasat. Druhá část práce je věnována popisu a analýze konkrétního zemědělského podniku, který se zabývá chovem prasat. Sledovány jsou užitkové vlastnosti chovu a poté porovnány s celorepublikovými výsledky. Dále je v práci zhodnocena ekonomika podniku, konkrétně náklady a tržby za prodej prasat. Data byla vyhodnocována za období 2017–2019. Z pohledu hodnocení užitkovosti prasat je podnik spíše podprůměrný. Jako nejúspěšnější se jeví rok 2019, kdy bylo odchováno průměrně 9,9 ks selat na vrh a 23,3 ks selat na prasnici za rok, což je v porovnání s jinými podniky v České republice málo. Společnosti se daří držet alespoň procento úhynu v lepších číslech než je průměr pro ČR. V roce 2019 to bylo pouze 8,3 %, oproti republikovým 11 %. Z ekonomického hlediska se podniku příliš nedaří a chov prasat je pro tuto společnost ztrátový. Nejvíce bylo utrženo v roce 2019, a to 10 853 505 Kč, kdy bylo prodáno největší množství prasat za průměrnou cenu 29,98 Kč/kg.

Abstract:

This master thesis focuses on the analysis of selected pig breeding in the Vysočina region. In the first part the reproductive and productive properties of pigs and the factors affecting them, the importance and economics of pig breeding are described. The second part of the master thesis is devoted to the description and analysis of a specific agricultural company, which affects pig breeding. Efficiency properties of breeding are monitored and then compared with national results. In the thesis, the economics of the company, especially expenses and revenues of sales of pigs, are evaluated. Data were evaluated in the period of 2017-2019. Concerning the evaluation of efficiency of pigs, the company is rather below average. The most successful year was 2019 when on average 9,9 piglets in one litter and 23,3 piglets on one sow per year were bred which is few in comparison with other companies in the Czech Republic. The company manages to keep at least the percentage of the deaths in better numbers than the average in the Czech Republic. In 2019, it was only 8,3 % compared to 11 % in Czech Republic. From the economic point of view, the company is not doing very well and the pig breeding seems to be loss-making. The most was revenued in 2019, namely 10 853 505 CZK, when the largest number of pigs was sold for an average price of 29,98 CZK/kg.
