Práce představuje život a dílo významného geometra a matematika Gasparda Monge. Popisuje jeho práci v oblasti deksriptivní geometrie a také diferenciální geometrie, obsahuje rozbor Mongeových knih "Géométrie descriptive" a "Application de l'algèbre à la géométrie". Je určena všem zájemcům o historii deskriptivní a diferenciální geometrie.
Abstract:
Diploma thesis presents life and work of the great geometrician and mathematician Gaspard Monge. It describes his work in the field of descriptive geometry and also differencial geometry. It contains analysis of Monge's books "Géométrie descriptive" and "Application de l'algèbre à la géométrie". It is intended to everyone interested in history of descriptive and differencial geometry.
