Cílem této diplomové práce bylo přispět ke studiu rtuti a jejího vlivu na rostliny. V literární části byla stručně zpracována problematika cizorodých látek, jejich výskyt a pohyb v životním prostředí, působení na živé organismy a možnosti eliminace cizorodých látek, případně snižování jejich toxicity.
