The main plot of this thesis is to investigate the linguistic situation in Brittany and to analyse Breton language in terms of its development. Cílem této diplomové práce je zkoumání jazykové situace ve francouzském regionu Bretaň a následná analýza postavení bretonštiny z hlediska jejího vývoje.
