Tato diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, zda je OSN odpovědná za nesplnění své povinnosti zabránit genocidě ve Rwandě. Po nástinu hlavních událostí, které vedly ke genocidě se zabývám samotným tématem odpovědnosti. This thesis concerns the international responsibility of the UN for the violation of its legal obligation to prevent genocide in Rwanda. I analyse the main events that have led to this tragedy and then the basic prerequisities of international responsibility - an indenpendent legal personality, attributability and wrongful conduct.
