Diplomová práce pojednává o vlivu kulturní oblasti středověkého šermu na výtvarné umění v souvislosti s iluminacemi vybraných rukopisu z českého prostředí čtrnáctého a patnáctého století. V první části autor definuje stav dosavadního bádání k danému tématu. Abstract:
The Master's Thesis deals with the influence of medieval swordsmanship to the fine art, in a context of specific illuminations in manuscripts from Czech environment of fourteen and fifteen century. In the first part, the author summarises a current state of the art. Then, he describes a cultural environment related to the medieval swordsmanship.
