Occupational therapy in a patient with schizophrenia during hospitalization

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ergoterapií u pacienta se schizofrenií v době hospitalizace. Vyobrazuje záměr vybraného tématu a rozdělení bakalářské práce na část teoretickou a praktickou. Cílem práce je uvést problematiku schizofrenního onemocnění v době hospitalizace z pohledu ergoterapeuta. Účelem práce je zpracovat problematiku poruch schizofrenního charakteru a nastínit vhodné ergoterapeutické postupy a procesy pro období hospitalizace. V praktické části nalezneme kazuistiku klienta a testů, které byly využity na vstupní a výstupní vyšetření: ACE-R (Addenbrookský kognitivní test), BI (Barthel index). Praktická část dále obsahuje krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán, konkrétní ergoterapeutické intervence s klientem a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán. Komparace vstupního a výstupního ergoterapeutického hodnocení a vyhodnocení ergoterapeutických intervencí. Následné zhodnocení prakticky využitých ergoterapeutických postupů u pacienta se schizofrenií v době hospitalizace. Vyhodnocení práce s pacientkou a možný přínos této bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with occupational therapy for patients with schizophrenia at the time of hospitalization. It depicts the intention of the selected topic and the division of the bachelor's thesis into a theoretical and practical part. The aim of the work is to introduce the issue of schizophrenic disease at the time of hospitalization from the perspective of an occupational therapist. The purpose of this work is to address the issue of schizophrenic disorders and outline appropriate occupational therapy procedures and processes for the period of hospitalization. In the practical part we will find a case report of the client and tests that were used for input and output examinations: ACE-R (Addenbrook cognitive test), BI (Barthel index). The practical part also contains a short-term occupational therapy plan, specific occupational therapy interventions with the client and a long-term occupational therapy plan. Comparison of input and output occupational therapy evaluation and evaluation of occupational therapy interventions. Subsequent evaluation of practically used occupational therapy procedures in a patient with schizophrenia at the time of hospitalization. Evaluation of work with a patient and the possible benefits of this bachelor's thesis.
