Using Mobile Devices in Teaching of Special Subjects

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Použití mobilních zařízení při výuce odborných předmětů“ se věnuje historií a popisu mobilních zařízení, včetně jejich využití při výuce. Pro lepší přehlednost je práce rozčleněna do tří částí. V první teoretické části jsou stručně charakterizovány pojmy jako je mobilní zařízení, smartphone, tablet a notebook, ale také se věnuje historii a popisu technických specifikací vybraných modelů mobilních zařízení a přehledu mobilních sítí. Druhá didaktická část vymezuje pojmy didaktický prostředek, M-learning a s ním související U-learning. Uvádí několik příkladů vybraných aplikací, které lze využít během výuky. Výzkumná část bakalářské práce je věnovaná průzkumu současných středních škol a cílem tohoto výzkumu je zjistit, jaká je situace v březnu 2018 s používáním mobilních zařízení během výuky na školách. Průzkum je proveden pomocí dotazníků a respondenty jsou učitelé a žáci středních škol v kraji Vysočina. Výsledky práce budou zpracovány a využity pro návrh učební jednotky na středních školách.

Abstract:

The bachelor theses “Using Mobile Devices in Teaching of Special Subjects” deals with the history and description of mobile devices as well as their use in teaching. For clear arrangements, the work is divided into three parts. In the first theoretical part, the concepts such as mobile devices, smartphones, tablets and notebooks are briefly described. Furthermore, the history, technical specifications of selected mobile device models and the overview of mobile networks is described in this part, too. The second didactic part defines concepts such as didactic means, M-learning and related U-learning. Selected applications, that can be used during lessons, are also presented. The research part of this bachelor thesis is devoted to the research of contemporary secondary schools. The aim of this research is find out what the situation is in March 2018 with the use of mobile devices during school teaching. The survey is conducted by using questionnaires while the respondents are teachers and students of secondary schools in the Vysočina Region. The elaborated results of the work will be used for designing a new teaching unit in secondary schools.
