Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá hodnotovými orientacemi žáků 2. stupně základních škol. Práce je tradičně rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se z počátku zaměřuje na vymezení kontextu hodnot a hodnotových orientací v sociálních vědách. Dále je věnována pozornost výzkumným šetřením hodnotových orientací dětí a mládeže provedených na území České republiky. Významnou oblastí teoretické části je identifikace vybraných socializačních faktorů, které se podílí na formování hodnot a hodnotových orientací. Závěrečná kapitola teoretické části se věnuje charakteristice stěžejní výzkumné populace žáků 2. stupně základních škol z pohledu vývojové psychologie. Empirická část prezentuje realizovaný výzkum týkající se hodnotových orientací žáků 2. stupně základních škol. Povaha výzkumného šetření je založena na kvantitativní metodologii, kdy byl pro sběr dat využit sestrojený dotazníkový nástroj. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, do jaké míry ovlivňují faktory hodnotové orientace žáků 2. stupně základních škol. Dílčími cíli je prozkoumat, jaké hodnoty a hodnotové orientace žáci zastávají dle věku a pohlaví. Další cíle se posléze zaměřují na zkoumané faktory v podobě rodiny, školy (učitelů), vrstevníků (kamarádů), volného času a médií, které jsou analyzovány v souvislosti utváření hodnotových orientací žáků 2. stupně základních škol.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the value orientation of lower secondary schools pupils (Year 6 to Year 9). The thesis is divided into the theory and empirical sections. First of all, the theory section defines the notion of values and value orientation in social sciences. Next, the thesis presents an overview of research previously conducted in the Czech Republic, regarding the value orientation of children and teenagers. A vital part of the theory section is identifying those particular socialisation factors which play the key role in forming the pupils’ values and value orientation. The final chapter of the theory part characterises the research sample of Year 6 to Year 9 pupils from the point of view of developmental psychology. The empirical section presents the actual research concerning the value orientation of pupils at lower secondary schools. The research is based on quantitative analysis, with data gathering conducted through a specially-designed questionnaire. The primary objective of the thesis is identifying the measure to which the particular factors influence the value orientation of pupils. The sub-objectives are the exploration of the influence of age and gender on the pupils’ values and value orientation. Other factors analyzed in the same context include: family, school (teachers), peers (friends), free-time activities and media.
