Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce zaměřující se na světové osobnosti sociální práce a jejich význam pro současnost, je rozdělena na dvě základní části, a sice teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část stručně vymezuje základní pojmy, které s daným tématem souvisejí, dále popisuje zmiňované vybrané osobnosti přelomu 19. a 20. století zejména z hlediska jejich profesního působení a zachycuje také některé z jejich hlavních myšlenek. V rámci části druhé, tedy empirické, je prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu, konkrétně realizací obsahové analýzy zjištěno, zda jsou některé z jejich myšlenek reflektovány v odborném časopisu Sociální práce / Sociálna práca.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on world's personalities of social work and their importance at the present time, it is divided into two basic parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part briefly defines the basic concepts related to the topic, then it describes the mentioned selected personalities of the turn of the 19th and 20th century, especially in terms of their professional activities, and captures some of their main ideas. In the second part, i.e. empirical, the quantitative research, specifically the content analysis, is used to determine whether some of their ideas are reflected in the professional journal Sociální práce / Sociálna práce.
