This thesis investigates how students engage in self-regulated learning, to what ex-tent it is connected with their motivation and how these factors influence their per-ceptions of academic performance. Using a quantitative research approach, a survey research method is employed to gather data from a diverse sample of Masaryk Uni-versity students.
