Graeco-macedonian military actions in Asia Minor (500-335 B. C.)
Abstract:
The thesis is focused on the description and analysis of Graeco-Macedonian actions in Asia Minor between 500-335 BC. The main topics of the thesis are the Ionian Revolt, the expedition of ten thousand Greek mercenaries to Asia Minor, the campaign of Agesilaus II. in Asia Minor, and the preparations of Philip II. of Macedon for a great expedition against the Persian Empire.
Abstract:
Práca je zameraná na opis a analýzu grécko-macedónskych akcií v Malej Ázii medzi rokmi 500-335 pred Kr. Hlavnými kapitolami práce sú Iónske povstanie, výprava desať tisíc gréckych žoldnierov do Malej Ázie, kampaň Agesilaa II. v Malej Ázii a prípravy Filipa II. Macedónskeho na veľkú výpravu proti Perzskej ríši.
