Abstract:

Diplomová práce popisuje vývoj filmového materiálu a obrazu od konce 19. století do kon-ce 60. let 20. století. Zabývá se černobílým filmem, přechodu na zvukový film a problémy s tím spojené jak po technické stránce tak po praktické z pohledu filmového tvůrce. Další část se věnuje aditivním a subtraktivním barevným systému a to především technologii Technicolor, která měla pro světovou kinematografii významný přínos. Není zde opome-nuto ani nástup jednovrstvého barevného filmového materiálu. Práce je ukončena obrazo-vými formáty, které byly prostředkem konkurence s televizí

Abstract:

This graduatio theses describes evolution of the film material and picture from the end of 19th century till the end of sixties of 20th century. It deals with the black and white film, the change towards the sound film and the related issues from the technical as well as from practical view of a movie maker. Another part of the theses is addressed to the subtractive and additive colour systems, particularly to Technicolor technology, which had significant-ly contributed to the world cinematography. Even the birth of the single layer color film material has not been ommited in the theses. The theses is concluded with the picture for-mats that served as means of competition with the television.
