Accessibility of chosen public institutions for people with learning disabilities in the city of Olomouc

Abstract:

Tato absolventská práce se zaměřuje na přístupnost informací vybraných veřejných institucí lidem s mentálním postižením. Jejím cílem je konceptualizace tohoto tématu a vypracování analýzy potřebnosti projektu zvyšujícího přístupnost informací ve vybraném muzeu v Olomouci. Jednotlivé kapitoly obsahují představení tématu, vymezení klíčových pojmů přístupnost a mentální postižení, teoretické zakotvení práce v teoriích a metodách sociální práce, etickém hledisku, sociální politice a právní úpravě osob s mentálním postižením. Výsledkem celé práce je výstup analýzy potřebnosti, který je shrnut v závěru této práce.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the accessibility of information of chosen public institutions for people with learning disabilities. Its aim is to conceptualize this topic and to develop needs analysis for a project increasing accessibility of information in a selected museum in the city Olomouc. The individual chapters contain an introduction of the topic, definition of key concepts accessibility and learning disability, theoretical grounding of the work in theories and methods of social work, ethical perspective, social policy and legal regulation of people with learning disabilities. The outcome of the whole work is the output of the needs analysis, which is summarised in the conclusion of this graduation thesis.
