Design of a Strategic plan of a public benefit institution National Furniture Design Center

Abstract:

Národní centrum nábytkového designu, obecně prospěšná společnost, se zaměřuje na uchování tradice českého nábytkářství, jeho současný vývoj a podporu mladých tvůrců. S rozvojem této neziskové organizace vznikla potřeba systematizace jejího provozu a tím i vytvoření strategického plánu. Diplomová práce je analytickým rozborem její činnosti a současně manuálem, kterým je možné se řídit při realizaci navrhovaných změn prospěšných pro její efektivnější fungování a budoucí rozvoj. Na základě konzultací s ředitelkou společnosti a dalšími členy byly vyhotoveny analýzy potřebné k vytvoření jasnějšího cíle organizace, zlepšení vnitřních procesů a utvoření marketingové strategie. Záměrem tohoto dokumentu je stanovit si priority a usměrnit vývoj instituce tak, aby dosahovala a plnila své cíle a vize.

Abstract:

The National Furniture Design Center, public benefit institution (in Czech: Národní centrum nábytkového designu, o. p. s.) focuses on preservation of tradition of the Czech furniture industry, its current development and the support of young creators. Along with the development of this non-profit organization, there was a need for systematization of its operation and thus a strategic plan had to be created as well. The diploma thesis is an analytical analysis of its activities and a manual at the same time. It can be followed during implementation of proposed changes which would be beneficial for more effective functioning and future development of the institution. Based on the consultations with the company director and other members, the necessary analyses were created to determine a clearer organizational goal, improve internal processes and establish a marketing strategy. The purpose of this document is to set priorities and manage the development of this institution to achieve and meet its goals and visions.
