Childe with diabetes mellitus I. type in preschool education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje dítěti s diabetem mellitu I. typu v předškolním vzdělávání. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První z nich pojednává o diabetu mellitu. Tato kapitola obsahuje základní pojmy, které se pojí k tomuto onemocnění. Dále tato kapitola zahrnuje klasifikaci diabetu. Následně je kapitola zaměřena na diabetes mellitus I. typu. V kapitole jsou popsány epidemiologie, etiologie, klinické projevy, diagnostika, léčba a komplikace diabetu mellitu I. typu. V druhé kapitole je popsán dopad diabetu na vzdělání. V této kapitole je na tento dopad nahlíženo ze dvou hledisek, z hlediska pedagoga a dítěte s diabetem mellitu I. typu. Nalezneme tam také, jak mohou komplikace diabetu ovlivnit vzdělávání dítěte s diabetem mellitu I. typu. Třetí kapitola se věnuje dítěti s diabetem mellitu I. typu v předškolním vzdělávání. V této kapitole nalezneme mnoho legislativních vymezení této problematiky. Pojednává také o vymezení pojmů předškolního vzdělávání, inkluze, zařazení dítěte s diabetem mellitu I. typu do mateřské školy a péči o toto dítě. Praktická část sleduje děti s diabetem mellitu I. typu v předškolním vzdělávání. V úvodu práce jsou popsány metody, kterými byly informace zjišťovány. V této práci jimi jsou rozhovor a případová studie. Metodou, kterou byly informace analyzovány, je zakotvená teorie. Zaměřuje se hlavně na začlenění dítěte do běžných mateřských škol a informuje o úpravách prostředí mateřských škol. Dále také zjišťuje přístup pedagogů a kolektivu dětí k dětem s diabetem mellitu I. typu. Získává informace o práci s těmito dětmi a jejich omezení v mateřských školách. V neposlední řadě zkoumá, jak jsou rodiče, pedagogové a děti s diabetem mellitu I. typu edukováni o diabetu mellitu I. typu.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on a child with type I diabetes mellitus in preschool education. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first one deals with diabetes mellitus. This chapter contains the basic concepts related to this disease. Furthermore, this chapter includes the classification of diabetes. Subsequently, the chapter focuses on type I. diabetes mellitus. The chapter describes the epidemiology, etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and complications of type I. diabetes mellitus. The second chapter describes the impact of diabetes on education. This chapter looks at this impact from two perspectives, that of the educator and that of the child with type I. diabetes mellitus. It also looks at how the complications of diabetes mellitus can affect the education of the child with this diagnosis. The third chapter focuses on the child with type I. diabetes mellitus in preschool education. In this chapter we find many legislative definitions of this issue. It also discusses the definition of preschool education, inclusion, the inclusion of the child with type I. diabetes mellitus in kindergarten and the care of this child. The practical part follows children with type I. diabetes mellitus in preschool. In the introduction of the paper, the methods by which the information was collected are described. In this thesis these are the interview and the case study. The method by which the information was analyzed is grounded theory. In the data analysis, the main focus is on the integration of the child into mainstream nursery schools and the adaptations of the nursery school environment. It also identifies the attitudes of the teachers and the collective of children towards children with type I. diabetes mellitus. It obtains information on working with these children and their limitations in kindergartens. Finally, it examines how parents, educators and children with type I. diabetes mellitus are educated about type I. diabetes mellitus.
