The way

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis entitled The Way - I was inspired by the trip to the highest peak in Slovenia (Triglav). The area of research is my physical and mental experiences during the journey, which I partially recorded in my diary. It also contains questions that I try to answer in a certain way. I try to perceive and analyze the position of the observer, the visitor. During the trip, I documented the trip with photographs of the landscape of the Triglav National Park. I move these photos into the medium of graphics using the technique of lithography from an unstable paper matrix. I left some photos untouched, I damage some and create fictional collages of the landscape from them. In a way, I put myself in the position of builder of my own romantic, fictional countries.

Abstract:

Vo svojej diplomovej práci s názvom Cesta, som sa inšpirovala výstupom na najvyšší vrchol Slovinska (Triglav). Oblasť skúmania sú moje fyzické a duševné skúsenosti počas putovania, ktoré som si čiastočne zaznamenávala do denníka. Obsahuje aj otázky na, ktoré sa snažím určitým spôsobom odpovedať a vnímať a analyzovať pozíciu pozorovateľa, návštevníka. Počas putovania som dokumentovala cestu fotografiami krajiny Triglavského národného parku. Tieto fotografie posúvam do média grafiky za pomoci techniky litografie z nestabilnej papierovej matrice. Niektoré fotografie nechávam pôvodné, niektoré poškodzujem a vytváram z nich koláže fiktívnej krajiny. Týmto spôsobom sa dávam do pozície budovateľa vlastných romantických, fiktívnych krajín.
