The rituals of hockey fans: a case study of the hockey team Čestice

Abstract:

Lední hokej je zajisté jednou z nejkrásnějších kolektivních her a současně i jedním z nejpopulárnějších a nejrozšířenějších sportů naší planety. Díky své velké přitažlivosti si získal oblibu mezi diváky i hráči téměř po celém světě. Svou stopu zanechal také v malé vesničce Čestice, kde se již hraje téměř 60 let. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rituálním chováním fanoušků a hráčů ledního hokeje, sportem obecně, sociálními vazbami a sportovním vyžitím ve vesničce Čestice. Stěžejním tématem práce však zůstávají rituální praktiky fanoušků a hráčů během hokejových utkání HC Čestice.

Abstract:

Ice hockey is certainly one of the most collective games and also one of the most popular and favorite sports on our planet. With its large attraction has gained popularity among spectators and hockey players all over the world. It also left its mark in the small village Čestice, where it is played nearly 60 years. This thesis is concerned with ritual behavior of fans and players of ice hockey, sports in general, social ties and sport facilities in the village Čestice. The central theme of the work remain the ritual practices of fans and players during a hockey game HC Čestice.
