Health beneficial substances of the genus Crataegus

Abstract:

V práci je stručně charakterizován rostlinný rod Crataegus a podrobněji několik jeho botanických druhů. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou popsány vlastnosti rodu a významné prospěšné látky obsažené v různých částech rostliny. V metodické části jsou analyzovány čerstvé plody, čerstvé a sušené květy a čerstvé i sušené listy celkem osmi druhů rodu Crataegus. V rámci experimentální části je stanovena antioxidační kapacita, obsah flavonoidů a fenolických látek v různých částech rostliny, v plodech je navíc stanoven obsah titrovatelných kyselin, refraktometrická sušina a kolorimetricky popsána jejich barva.

Abstract:

In this study, the plant genus Crataegus is briefly characterized and several of its botanical species are described in more detail. The characteristics of the genus and the important beneficial substances contained in different parts of the plant are described in individual chapters. In the methodological part, the fresh fruits, fresh and dried flowers and fresh and dried leaves of a total of eight species of the genus Crataegus are analyzed. In the experimental part, the antioxidant capacity, the flavonoid and phenolic content of the different parts of the plant are determined, and the titratable acid content, the refractometric dry weight and the color of the fruits are also determined.
