Ruled surfaces

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Přímkové plochy" se zabývá přímkovými plochami a jejich využitím v praxi. Cílem práce je popsat přímkové plochy, uvést některé příklady rozvinutelných a zborcených přímkových ploch a dále ukázat využití přímkových ploch v praxi. Nejprve práce uvádí obecné vlastnosti ploch. Navazující kapitola rozpracovává rozvinutelné plochy. Třetí kapitola se věnuje zborceným přímkovým kvadrikám. Následující kapitola popisuje a fotografiemi dokumentuje praktické použití přímkových ploch. V rámci práce jsou vyrobeny a představeny i reálné modely obou zborcených přímkových kvadrik, které jsou tématem poslední kapitoly.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's Thesis titled "Ruled surfaces" deals with the issue of ruled surfaces and its practical use. The aim of this thesis is to describe ruled surfaces, introduce some examples of developable and warped surfaces and demonstrate the practical use of the ruled surfaces. At first the thesis deals with the general properties of surfaces. The next chapter elaborates the issue of developable surfaces. The third part of the thesis deals with the issue of warped quadratic surfaces. In the next chapter there is a description and photographic documentation of the practical use of the ruled surfaces. Within the thesis there are made and presented real models of both warped quadratic surfaces that are the subject of the last chapter.
