Předkládaná diplomová práce má převážně hydromorfologický charakter. Jejím zájmovým územím byl 36 km dlouhý říční koridor řeky Svratky od jejího pramene po hranice CHKO Žďárské vrchy v obci Borovnice. Úvodní část se zabývá rozborem problematiky hydromorfologické klasifikace a hodnocení vodních toků, přičemž si podrobněji všímá aktuálních problémů hydromonitoringu v České republice. The thesis presented is focused on the hydrogeomorphology. The place of interest of this study is about 36-kilometre long corridor of the Svratka river from its spring up to the border of the Protected Landscape Area Žďárské vrchy in the village of Borovnice.
