Advantages and Disadvantages of a Common Currency for the Euro Area

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Výhody a nevýhody společné měny pro státy eurozóny se snaží zmapovat celý proces evropské měnové integrace od úplných začátků měnových unií, přes formování eurozóny a deklarování výhod a nevýhod až po současné ekonomické problémy států eurem platících. Důležitou kapitolou uvnitř práce je změna původních výhod v nevýhody ukazující se v současné době. Cílem práce je zkoumání historie měnových unií jako takových, vývoj evropské měnové unie, zkoumání a popis teoretických výhod a nevýhod současné společné evropské měny, zkoumání současné situace a problémů eura, transformace a zkoumání některých původních výhod v nevýhody a konkrétní způsoby a možnosti řešení aktuálních problémů.

Abstract:

The thesis Advantages and disadvantages of a common currency for the euro area is trying to map the whole process of European monetary integration from the very beginning of monetary unions, through the formation of the euro area and the declared advantages and disadvantages, to the current economic problems of the euro. An important chapter within the work is the change of some advantages into disadvantages showing up at the present time. The aim is to explore the history of monetary unions as such, the development of the European Monetary Union, exploration and description of the theoretical advantages and disadvantages of the current common European currency, the examination of the current situation and problems of the euro, transformation and exploration of some of the original advantages and disadvantages, possibilities or special methods of solving current problems .
