Communication with Father during Childbirth

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma Komunikace s otcem při porodu. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmem komunikace, její formy a dělení. V bakalářské práci je popsáno naslouchání, empatie a také kontraproduktivní a asertivní komunikace. Práce je dále zaměřena na porod, jeho rozdělení, porodní mechanismus. V teoretické části je popsána přítomnost otce u porodu, její výhody a nevýhody. A v neposlední řadě přístup zdravotnického personálu k přítomnosti otce při porodu. V praktické části jsou popsány výsledky průzkumu, který byl proveden kvantitativní tech-nikou dotazníkového šetření. Výzkum byl proveden na porodním sále Gynekologicko-porodnického oddělení. Výsledky, které byly získány, jsou shrnuty do tabulek a grafů s komentářem. V diskuzi a závěru jsou tyto výsledky rozebrány.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is a theme of Communication with father during childbirth. The theoretical part is focused on the term communication, its forms and parts. The bache-lor thesis describes empathy, listening and contraproductive assertive communication. Another aim of the thesis is a childbirth, its stages and whole mechanism. The theoretical part describes a role and an importance of a father presence during a childbirth. The last but not least this thesis discuss also attitude of a medical staff to a presence of a father. The practical part contains results of the quantitative research done by usage of the series of questionnaires. The research was accomplished in a delivery-room of gynaecology depart-ment. The results are summarized to tables and charts with additional commentary. The results are debated in discussion and conclusion.
