Tasks and competences of a supervising authority in sphere of foreign private enterprice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce přibližuje vzájemný postoj a vztah mezi podnikajícími cizinci a orgány veřejné správy. První kapitola je věnována úkolům a kompetencím veřejné správy, se zaměřením na dozorovou činnost. V další části je rozebrán příchod cizinců do České republiky, konkrétněji prezentace informací týkající se země původu Vietnamců. Tato komunita je sice jako třetí nejpočetnější, ale přesto ekonomicky nejaktivnější komunitou žijící v České republice. Práce zkoumá vzájemné postoje této minority k většinové společnosti a naopak. Následují práva a povinnosti cizinců, kteří vykonávají svojí podnikatelskou činnost na území našeho státu. V rámci praktické části jsou provedeny spontánní a řízené rozhovory. Přínosem jsou fakta na základě výzkumu o zjištění, životních příběhů a spokojenosti života na našem území. Práce je završena shrnutím a vyhodnocením rozhovorů, výsledkem jsou hlubší poznatky o životě cizinců – Vietnamců.

Abstract:

The thesis approaches a topic of mutual relationships and attitudes between foreigners doing business in CR and public administration authorities. The first chapter is devoted to the tasks and competences of public administration focusing on supervisory activities. The next part analyzes the arrival of foreigners to the Czech Republic, in particular it presents information concerning the country of origin of these foreigners – Vietnam. The Vietnamese community is the third largest but still the first most active community living in the Czech Republic in terms of economic activity. The thesis examines the mutual attitudes of the minority to the majority and vice versa. Further, the paper deals with rights and obligations of foreigners who conduct their business on the territory of our country. The practical part presents the performed spontaneous as well as structured interviews. The contribution of this paper lies in the collected facts based on research findings about life stories and life satisfaction of this community in our country. The work is completed by a summary and evaluation of the interviews, which result in a deeper understanding of life of foreigners - Vietnamese.
