Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce pojednává o teoretických koncepcích, metodách a nástrojích controllingu a popisuje fungování controllingu ve vybraném podniku. Cílem práce je porovnání teorie controllingu s jeho praktickou aplikací. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na základní vymezení controllingu a popisuje metody a nástroje používané controllingem. Část práce je věnována otázce řízení podniků před rokem 1989 a nastínění vzniku controllingu v nově vzniklých podmínkách tržního hospodářství ČR. Praktická část práce analyzuje činnost střediska controllingu ve společnosti KORADO, a.s. a blíže specifikuje především oblast plánování a reportingu. Na základě komparace teoretické a praktické úrovně controllingu jsou předloženy návrhy na jeho zlepšení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with theoretical concepts, methods and tools of financial controlling and describes controlling in a particular company. The objective of the thesis is to compare the theory of controlling to its application in practice. The theoretical section focuses on the basic definition of controlling and describes the methods and tools used in controlling. Part of the thesis deals with the issue of company managements before 1989 and an outline of controlling in a newly established market economy in the Czech Republic. The practical section analyses the activities of the financial controlling department in the company KORADO, a.s. and specifies in particular planning and reporting. Proposals for improvements in controlling are then proposed based on the comparison of its theoretical and practical levels.
