V devadesátých letech se v příběhové próze ze života dětí znovu objevila tematika přátelství dětí se zvířaty. Tato práce podrobně popisuje klíčovou tematiku v prózách Marcelly Marboa a Zbyňka Malinského. Pro dokreslení tematiky přátelství dětí se zvířaty se práce okrajově zabývá dalšími čtyřmi prózami (Ivy Procházkové, Jany Štroblové, Valji Stýblové a Nadi Gajerové-Mauerové). In narrative prose from children´s life reappeared the theme of friendship between children and animals in 90´s of 20th Century. This bachelor thesis describes in detail the main theme in prose Marcella Marboe and Zbyněk Malinský.
