Cultural diplomatic relations between Czech Republic and Spain. A case study about Czech cultural diplomacy in Spain.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem kulturní diplomacie České republiky a Španělského království. Teoretická část definuje oblasti kulturní diplomacie, jež následně zpracovává, a předkládá modely vlastní propagace obou zemí vedoucí k jejímu naplňování. Stěžejní část práce je věnována Českým centrům, hlavnímu pilíři Ministerstva zahraničních věcí v šíření kultury za hranice České republiky. Případová studie, která analyzuje zastoupení Českých center ve Španělsku, se soustřeďuje na organizační strukturu, vedení centra, programovou skladbu, strategické plánování, financování, komunikační strategii aj. Následnou syntézou analyzovaných dat předkládá doporučení vztahující se k efektivnějšímu naplňování cílů prezentace české kultury ve Španělsku. Poslední částí práce je návrh konkrétních hodnotících kritérií pro fungování Českého centra v Madridu v nadcházejícím období.

Abstract:

This thesis topic treats about the cultural diplomatic relations of Czech Republic and Spain. The theoretical part of it defines the different areas of the cultural diplomatic relations which analyse and present the models of the information way from both countries which produce its results. The base of the thesis treats about the Czech centres which support Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the diffusion of the Czech culture outside of Czech borders. The case study analyses the representation of the Czech centres in Spain, it concentrates on the organizational structure, leadership of the centre, its program, strategic plans, finance, communication strategy etc. Through the collection of the information and data to produce the result, it presents the recommendations related to the fulfilment of the goals of the Czech culture in Spain. The last issue of the thesis treats about the concrete possibility of the evaluate criteria for proper functionality of the Czech centre in Madrid in the coming time.
