Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá problematikou kolektivního investování se zaměřením na podílové fondy. Nákup podílových listů podílového fondu je v dnešní době velmi oblíbeným způsobem investice. V této práci je porovnána investice do podílového fondu a investice do investorem sestaveného portfolia akcií. V první kapitole práce je zpracována teorie kolektivního investování se zaměřením na podílové fondy, obsah statutu fondu, zdanění příjmu z prodeje podílových listů a na základní typologii podílových fondů. Je zpracována simulace využívající fiktivního investora, ve které je porovnána investice do růstového podílového fondu a do investorem sestaveného portfolia. Jsou stanoveny podmínky pro provedení investice jako částka, investiční horizont a další. Je také vyprofilován fiktivní investor. Je definována metodika a kritéria pro výběr, realizaci a vyhodnocení vhodných fiktivních investičních příležitostí. Je vytvořen přehled vybraných akciových titulů a růstových podílových fondů s akciovým portfoliem. Na základě ukazatelů a kritérií je z dat z let 2001 až 2004 vybrán jeden podílový fond a tři akciové tituly. Z akciových titulů je sestaveno portfolio. Do portfolia i do podílového fondu je na začátku roku 2005 provedena investice. Tyto investice jsou na základě metodiky a kritérií vyhodnoceny a porovnány k 9. březnu 2012. Ze získaných poznatků je vypracováno doporučení pro investora uvažujícího v současné době o investici na finančním trhu.

Abstract:

This thesis concerns the problematic of collective investments, focusing on mutual funds. The purchase of mutual fund shares is very popular way how to invest these days. In this thesis is compared an investment to the mutual fund with an investment to portfolio created by an investor. The first part of thesis contains the theory of collective investment, focusing on mutual funds, on content of the fund prospectus, on taxation of income from share sales and on the basic typology of mutual funds. In thesis there is made a simulation where a fictitious investor compares an investment to the chosen mutual fund with an investment to portfolio created by him. There are defined conditions for the investment such as amount, investment horizon and others. The fictional investor is also profiled. Thereafter indicators and criteria for selection, realization and analysis of appropriate investment opportunities are defined. For the purposes of the simulation is compiled a list of selected equities and mutual funds with equity portfolios. Based on these indicators and criteria and using data from 2001 to 2004 one mutual fund and three equities are chosen. From three selected equities the portfolio is created. In early 2005 is made an investment in portfolio and in mutual fund. These investments are assessed and compared using established criteria and methodology on 9 march 2012. Based on findings gained from the made simulation there are given recommendations for an investor who is currently considering an investment in the financial market.
