Fundraising of non-profit organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi fundraisingu pro nestátní neziskové organizace. V úvodní části jsou popsány nestátní neziskové organizace, jejich historie, charakteristika a rozdělení. Důraz se klade především na Nadace. Následující kapitola je zaměřena na fundraising a možnosti využití tohoto typu financování pro nestátní neziskové organizace včetně jednotlivých typů financování (příjmy z vlastní činnosti, individuální fundraising, firemní fundraising, crowdfunding, příjmy dosažené z loterií a her, veřejný fundraising a další techniky). Následující část se zabývá Nadací pro transplantace kostní dřeně, tj. základní informace o společnosti, orgány Nadace a již podpořené projekty. Práce se zabývá jednotlivými grantovými programy krajů, obcí, ministerstva zdravotnictví České republiky a Evropskými strukturálními a investičními fondy. Předposlední kapitola se zabývá vytvořením dotační žádosti. V závěru práce je uvedeno vícezdrojové financování, zejména možnost využití crowdfundingu. Zde je použita metoda best practise a její využití pro Nadaci.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the possibilities of fundraising for non-profit organizations. The introductory section describes the non-profit organizations, their history, characteristics and classification. The emphasis is mainly on the Foundation. The following chapter deals with fundraising and the possibilities of using this type of financing for non-profit organizations, including the different types of funding (the income from its own activities, the individual fundraising, the corporate fundraising, the crowdfunding, the incomes from lottery and game, the public fundraising and other techniques). The following section is focused on the Foundation for bone marrow transplantation, i.e. basic information about the organization, the authorities of the Foundation and its already supported projects. The work deals with the various grant programs of regions, cities, Ministry of health care of the Czech Republic and the European structural and investment funds. The penultimate chapter deals with creating a provisioning request. At the conclusion of the work is mentioned the multi-source funding, especially the possibility of using crowdfunding. The method of best practise is used in this part and its application to the Foundation for bone marrow transplantation.
