Anotace:

The automotive industry is facing a pivotal change, the switch from fossil fuel combustion dependency toward electric engine dominance. This new industry modifies the basic features of the market and, therefore, diminishes the efficiency of the current business models adopted by companies that were developed based on the traditional vehicle market. Nonetheless, new business models are being shaped to fulfill the new needs and expectations of the customers, generating value in innovative ways following the new market drivers. Through a Systematic Literature Review, the author develops an overview of the market to outline the characteristics that shape this emerging sector. The scope is to create a valuable resource for companies and entrepreneurs that intend to act in this market.
