INSIDE VOICE

Abstract:

Diplomová práce ,,Vnitřní hlas" je subjektivní reflexí autora a je představena koupelnovým prostorem, rozkresleným fixami na bázi lihu. Inspirací k vytvoření konceptu diplomové práce posloužil fantastický film sovětského režiséra Andreje Tarkovského ,,Stalker" (1979), natočený podle knihy sovětských spisovatelů bratrů Strugackých ,,Piknik u cesty". Ve filmu probíhá úplné sebeodhalení hlavních hrdinů v podmínkách smrtelně nebezpečné Zóny - místa, kde byla zaznamenána invaze mimozemšťanů. Vycházejí z toho, konceptem a cílem je vytvoření své vlastní ,,Zóny", kde se v plné míře rozvíjí a předvádí vnitřní hlas autora pomocí kresby fixami na bázi lihu. Samotný koupelnový prostor je částí konceptu, protože vnitřní hlas je intimní věc a pro jeho předvádění je nutný smyslově vyhovující prostor. Vždyť v koupelně probíhá ta intimní část každodenního života, tady ze sebe člověk shazuje svůj ,,obal" (oblečení, líčení atd.) a zůstává nahý.

Abstract:

The thesis "Inside Voice" is a subjective reflection of the author and is represented by a bathroom, painted with permanent markers. The theme "Inner Voice" itself resonates with what has worried the author lately - "the path to himself", the search for himself as an artist, which means that the author "listened to himself", listened to his inner voice. The inspiration for the concept of the thesis was the fantastic film "Stalker" by Andrei Tarkovsky (1979), based on the story of the Strugatsky brothers "Roadside Picnic". In this film, the full disclosure of the main characters takes place in the conditions of the deadly "Zone" - the place where the invasion of an alien race was recorded. Based on this, the concept and the goal is to create a surreal space - a personal "Zone" where the author's inner voice is fully revealed and shows with the help of drawings with permanent markers. The bathroom is also part of the concept, since the "inner voice" is a private place and a room that is suitable in meaning is needed to shows it. In the bathroom that a private part of human life takes place - in this place a person throws off his "shell" (clothes, image, makeup, etc.) and be in the raw.
