Abstract:
Antimikrobiální peptidy jsou součástí vrozeného imunitního sytému mnoha organizmů. Adsorpce těchto peptidů na biologické membrány je úzce spojena s jejich efektivitou a specificitou. V téhle práci jsme studovali efekt lipidového složení membrány, sekundární struktury peptidů a bodových mutací v sekvenci peptidu na adsorpci. Antimicrobial peptides are a part of innate immune system of many organisms. Adsorption of these peptides on biological membranes is closely related to their effectiveness and specificity. In this thesis, we study effect of membrane lipid composition, effect of peptide secondary structure, and point mutations in peptide sequence on adsorption.
