Evaluation of shopping process for selected e-shops

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat použitelnost webu vybraných e-shopů s módou, zjistit silné a slabé stránky jednotlivých webů a navrhnout optimalizační změny, které by měl e-shop ZOOT aplikovat na své stránky. Pro potřeby analýzy byly realizovány testy použitelnosti webu, které vychází z doporučení Steva Kruga. Scénář testování byl přizpůsoben zaměření webů, v tomto případě tedy e-shopům s módou. Tyto testy byly provedeny v dubnu 2020 za přítomnosti čtyř účastníků. Ti prováděli úkoly, které spočívaly v orientaci na webu a vytvoření objednávky. Jako výsledek provedené analýzy bylo doporučeno firmě aplikovat prvky, které využívá konkurence k ulehčení výběru zboží zákazníkem a nákupního procesu.

Abstract:

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the website usability of selected fashion e-shops, to determinate the strong and weak points of each website and to propose optimization changes which ZOOT should apply to their website. For the purposes of the analysis, web usability tests, which are based on the recommendations of Steve Krug, were carried out. The testing scenario was adapted to the focus of the websites, in this case fashion e-shops. These tests were performed in April 2020 with the participation of four people. They performed tasks which were based on the orientation of website and the order execution. As a result of the analysis, the company was recommended to apply the elements used by competitors to facilitate the selection of goods by the customer and to facilitate the purchasing process.
