Text se zabývá historií a aktuálním směřováním vztahů mezi Evropskou unií a Středozemním regionem. The text deals with the history and current direction of relations between the EU and the Mediterranean region. Through analysis of the approach of the European Community / European Union to the region in the past, the diploma thesis identify the main causes of failure to achieve the desired objectives.
