The recovery of walking and sporting activity in a patient with cemented hip arthroplasty: clinical case
Abstract:
Total hip arthroplasty is the most common hip reconstructive procedure in adults. In this surgery some parts of the upper femur and acetabulum are replaced with biocompatible materials. The main objective of this surgery is to eliminate pain and recover the full extent of joint movement, maintaining hip stability.
Abstract:
L'artroplastica totale dell'anca ? la procedura ricostruttiva dell'anca pi? comune negli adulti. In questo intervento chirurgico vengono sostituite alcune parti del femore superiore e dell'acetabolo con materiali biocompatibili. L'obiettivo principale di questo intervento chirurgico ? eliminare il dolore e recuperare la piena estensione del movimento articolare, mantenendo la stabilit? dell'anca.
