Tato práce se zaměřuje na M-Index - strukturu pro podobnostní vyhledávání v multimediální databázi a její implementaci v programovacím jazyce Java. Práce obsahuje popis samotného M-Indexu s jeho konstrukcí, použité algoritmy a principy metrického prostoru a podobnostního vyhledávání. This thesis aims on M-Index - a similarity search structure for multimedia databases and its implementation in Java. The thesis contains description of M-Index structures, used algorithms and principles of metric space and similarity searching.
