Jumpscare as a Means of Expression in Pavel Soukup's Films
Abstract:
V bakalářské práci analyzuji techniku s filmovým prostředkem jump scare. Z pohledu filmové teorie i z hlediska psychologie a fyziologie. V druhé polovině se konkrétně věnuji filmům Pavla Soukupa, jenž je jeden z mála českých režisérů, kteří se věnují tvorbě hororů.
Abstract:
In this bachelor thesis I analyze the technique with the film medium jump scare. From the point of view of film theory and from the point of view of psychology and physiology. In the second half, I specifically focus on the films of Pavel Soukup, who is one of the few Czech directors who is dedicated to making horror films.
