Application of the Lean Office methodology in the Football Industry

Abstract:

Název diplomové práce Uplatnění metodiky Lean Office ve fotbalovém průmyslu Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou podnikových procesů fotbalových klubů, zejména klubu Liverpool FC. Cílem diplomové práce je zanalyzovat procesy uvnitř vybraného fotbalového klubu a navrhnout doporučení pro zlepšení za použití nástrojů a metodiky Lean Office.. Existují předpoklady myslet že velká část procesů ve Fotbale se dělá klasickými (mnoho kde to znamená neefektivními) metody, což potenciálně dává prostor pro zlepšení. A proto toto téma by mělo být velmi aktuální pro tento průmysl. V práci jsou popsány teoretické základy Lean Office, mapování procesů a konkrétní nástroje Lean. Dále je analyzován podnikový proces nákupů nových hráčů jsou navržena řešení jeho problémových míst. Tyto úvodní návrhy mají sloužit k započetí uplatňování filosofie Štíhlé výroby v celém průmyslu. Abstract:

Abstract This Master´s Thesis focuses on the analysis of the business processes within the football clubs, especially the Liverpool FC. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the processes within the football club and to propose the way how to improve them by using the Lean Office methodology There are prerequisits that a vast amount of the processes are not being performed well in the Football Industry. That is why this topic should be very actual for this industry. The basic theoretical aspects of the Lean Office had been described in the thesis, as well as the aproach how to map the process and exact tools had also been described. Then the business process of acquiring of a new player is analyzed and the possible solution how to improve it is proposed. Those ideas have to be drivers for the ongoing improvement for the industry by implementing the Lean philisophy throughout it.
