The Typical Pronunciation's Mistakes of Czech Native Speakers in German and Methods of their Elimination-Phonetic Analysis of Text

Abstract:

My final work "Typical Pronunciation Errors of Czech Native Speakers in German and the Methods of their Elimination" deals with the problematics of German phonetics and phonology. This area of linguistics is often being overlooked, and isn't being paid enough attention during the process of language learning. Yet, together with vocabulary and grammar, it is one of the foundation stones of the language. The theory part, based on study of literature, deals with the basic terminology in the given area. It contains definitions of expressions directly connected to the topic, such as segmental and suprasegmental language level, pronunciation error, etc. A question arises here to what extent it is possible to eliminate pronunciation errors. As the work deals with the problematics of pronunciation errors typical for Czech speakers, phonetic system of Czech and German vowels is being compared here. The practical part, based on the phonetic analysis of a German text, shows concrete examples of the most frequent errors of Czech native speakers. It describes the reason of incorrect pronunciation and suggests the way of its eliminating. It also contains phonetic exercises for practising correct pronunciation. The aim of my work is expanding my own knowledge and skills in the given area, orientation in specialized literature concerning the topic, as well as, hopefully, inspiring my colleagues for their work in the area of German phonetics and phonology.

Abstract:

Bakalářska práce " Typické výslovnostní chyby v německém jazyce u českých rodilých mluvčích a metody jejich odstranění " se zabývá oblastí fonetiky a fonologie německém jazyce. Tato oblast jazykovědy bývá často přehlížena a při výuce se ji nevěnuje dostatečná pozornost. Přitom vedle slovní zásoby a gramatiky představuje jeden ze základních pilířu jazyka vůbec. Teoretická část na základě studia odborné literatury rozebírá základní pojmy a výrazy z dané oblasti. Jsou zde definovány pojmy přímo související s tématem jako je: segmentální a suprasegmentální rovina jazyka, výslovnostní chyba,atd. K řešení se nabízí otázka do jaké míry lze výslovnostní chyby odstranit. Protože se práce zabývá problematikou výslovnostních chyb českých rodilých mluvčích, je zde také srovnáván fonetický systém českých a německých vokálu. V praktické částí jsou na základě fonetické analýzy německého textu konkrétně rozebírány nejčastější chyby českých rodilých mluvčích, je zde popsána příčina nesprávné výslovnostni a navržen postup k docílení jejího odstranění. Rovněž jsou zde uvedena fonetická cvičení k správnému nácviku výslovnosti. Cílem práce je prohloubení vlastních vědomostí a dovedností v dané oblasti, orientace v odborné literatuře k tématu jakož i případná inspirace pro práci kolegů v oboru fonetiky a fonologie NJ.
