This thesis deals with a rather neglected manuscript of theatin František Kajetán Netvorský entitled "Legatio mortuorum ad vivos", which contains a unique collection of purgatorial sermons. The main emphasis is on the elements of Baroque homiletics in Netvorský's work, and especially on the characterization of purgatory in the conception of František Kajetán and the inclusion of his manuscript in the …more
