Function of somatic phraseology in nonverbal communication

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o funkci somatických frazémů v neverbální komunikaci. Teoretická část představuje základní problematiku kognitivní lingvistiky a reflexi tělesnosti v jazykovém obraze světa. Dále se zaměřuje na frazeologii a klasifikaci jednotlivých typů frazémů z formálně-strukturního hlediska a poté na neverbální komunikaci a klasifikaci neverbálních prostředků. Praktická část se zabývá analýzami konkrétních komunikačních situací, ve kterých jsou užity somatické frazémy. U těchto frazémů je následně zkoumán jejich odraz v neverbální komunikaci.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis discusses the function of somatic phrasemes in nonverbal communication. The first part focuses on cognitive linguistics and reflection of physicality in the linguistic image of world, as well as phraseology and categorization of individual types of phrasemes from formal structural point of view and then nonverbal communication and classification of specific nonverbal elements. The second part deals with the analysis of particular communication situations with significant use of somatic phrasemes. The reflection of these phrasemes in the nonverbal communication is examined.
