Diplomová práce se zabývá konverzí žen k islámu v kulturním prostředí České republiky. Hlavním cílem bylo srovnání situace na Slovensku, které je známo svým religióznějším kulturním prostředím. Výzkumnými otázkami jsem pátrala zejména po motivacích ke konverzi a následné změně jejich postavení v rodině a vůči majoritní společnosti. The thesis analyses female conversion to islam in the czech cultural background. This main topic will be comparated to Slovakia. Slovaks are known like more religious people than ateistic Czechs. The questionnaire asked for motivation to convert and how it could change position of convertits in their family or major society after.
