Adaptation Process in a Selected Organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá adaptačním procesem ve vybrané nestátní neziskové organizaci. K tématu je přistupováno z perspektivy oboru řízení a rozvoj lidských zdrojů. Teoretická část práce je členěna do čtyř kapitol, které rozpracovávají čtyři hlavní teoretické koncepty. První kapitola je zaměřena na řízení a rozvoj lidských zdrojů. Druhá kapitola se zabývá pojmy adaptace a adaptační proces. Třetí kapitola hledá příležitosti personálního managementu v řízení adaptačního procesu. Teoretická část je zakončena specifikováním podpor a bariér adaptačního procesu. V rámci empirické části je pomocí kvalitativní výzkumné strategie – analýzy dokumentů a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, zkoumáno vnímání podpor a bariér adaptačního procesu pracovníků ve vybrané organizaci. Výsledky výzkumu jsou interpretovány v analytické části a představují zjištění, co podporuje a co brání adaptačnímu procesu v organizaci. Na základě výsledků výzkumu je závěrem formulován návrh adaptačního programu v organizaci.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with adaptation process in a selected Non-Governmental Organization. The topic is approached especially from the perspective of the field human resources management system. The theoretical part of this thesis is divided into four chapters that discuss four main theoretical concepts. The first chapter focuses on explaining in detail the human resources management system. The second chapter looks into the term of adaptation and adaptation process. The third chapter looks for human resources management opportunities in managing the adaptation process. The theoretical part is completed by specifying the support and barriers of the adaptation process. In the empirical part of the thesis, perception of support and barriers to the adaptation process of workers in a selected organization, is researched with qualitative research strategy. The method used are a document analysis and a half structured interview administered to the participants. The results of the research are interpreted in the analytical chapter of the empirical part of this thesis and they shall define what encourages and what weakens the adaptation process of workers in a selected organization. Based on conlusion of suvey, there are resuming formulation of recommendation for practise, what is concrete proposal of an program in a organization.
